When Cendant bought Orbitz.com, they decided to integrate Lodging.com (another site owned by Cendant) onto the Orbitz co-brandable platform. They needed a new design that fit within the confines of the platform, yet they wanted to maintain the Lodging.com brand and differentiate it from the Orbitz look and feel.

We performed several rounds of usability testing and this design performed the best. Users felt the design was clean, inspired them to travel, and made it easy for them to find what they were looking for.
