Lodging.com needed an effective interstitial page while users waited up to 15 seconds to get hotel results. It was important that users knew that they were waiting for results and that their web browser hadn't locked up.

With a combination of illustration, animated flash design, and html, the final page resulted in a major decrease in drop-offs from the search and interstitial pages.
